love, love, love .... and we usually avoid groups ! The clan would go everyday if they could.
We have a mix of Neuro-diverse and Neuro typical children, we struggle to find groups were they all thrive. This is one of them. All learn, all develop and all have fun and have made friends which is a struggle for some of my clan. Thank you .😀👍
Our child who is disabled and has ASD has made so much progress. We are now on the pathway to get a qualification and are really excited. This is the first set of sessions she has ever felt comfortable and wanted to go to . Would reccommend.
My daughter has Selective mutisum ,pda, autism, adhd. Heidi has been kind, patient and inclusive. She is very knowledgeable and has taught my daughter alot.
My daughter has been going to Home Ed lessons and it is the highlight of her week. She loves her classes, is progressing really well and learning new skills, becoming more confident in her abilities and making friends. She is happy and accepted. She loves Heidi!
My son to get into college, just needed another level 2 at GCSE along side his functional skills, we never thought he would get beyond that, he's not even arty really! We just needed another grade so he could move on with kids his own age, and was aiming for a grade 2 at GCSE ! To have an expected grade of level 6 GCSE is beyond what we ever hoped for. Thank you ! Looking forward to results day! It's something we didn't think was possible.
How she keeps a smile on her face in the occasional sessions when everyone's ADHD / ASD is kicking off and they all want to do seperate things to what's been planned I dont know ! But somehow she settles them all down and they have fun and achieve something new ! Not sure how ! Some sort of magician I expect ! Put your feet up !
We have attended a number of the free community sessions, often they tha kfully come up when we've needed them the most ! Having non verbal child can be difficult and we are not always able to acsess sessions in other places...But these sessions have always been amazing and my child has settled, can follow the program or freestyle and had such fun . They've learnt new things that they then use at home. Thank you for making is so welcome .
Heidi is an amazing art teacher. she's so good at letting people be themselves and gives them the confidence to create unique and beautiful art. She also makes art fun for all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Weve been at AiA for 18 months now . Heidi is a fantastic art teacher, so enthusiastic and inspiring, and so responsive to the children & young people she teaches. My daughter is 8, has ASD&ADHD and goes to the home education classes at Arts in Action. She's engaged so well, and feels so comfortable there that she's learnt lots of new artistic skills and loves the show off the work she's produced. Heidi is so accommodating of her needs, and always happy to adapt plans when needed. Would highly recommend her classes for all 😁😁
